Mike contracted a severe form of shingles 3 days after the surgery

in hospital. It was in facial nerves and spread to ocular and inside

head, it was a terrible time while they got it under control.

The nerve pain was excrutiating and he

was prescribed Gabapentin 300mg.

I am at home this weekend and Internet access is very slow but if

someone can put this drug in their browser I think they will find it

is prescribed for painful neuropathy, diabetic neuropathy of feet

and extremeties etc. It is actually an anti epileptic drug I think

but found to relieve other problems.

I am unsure of all symptons because here it is called Gabatur and

the leaflet is only in Spanish

Mike is on Irinotecan not Oxyplatin so no neuropathy with his cheme.

Its worth a try.

So far here in the Indiana, my ONC only prescribes time to take care

of the neuropathy. I will mention this to him. Ingrid
