Guest guest
Hi, I just thought I'd throw my two cents in here: I had my amalgams removed back in 1995. After I read Huggins' " It's All In Your Head " , my decision was to have all my fillings removed within one week, on four separate days: one for each quadrant, the one with the most electrical current first. I figured it was the easiest way to avoid the whole " cycle " thing he explained in the book, as far as NOT doing it when your body went through a cycle that IF you had fillings removed on the wrong day, you could do your body much more harm. I had a Vitamin C IV hooked up each time (a nightmare with the most horrible veins you've ever seen; I'm a VERY bad " stick " ), my dentist used a rubber dam, constant suction at each filling while drilling and an oxygen feed over my nose. Unfortunately, the only positive change for me was that I experienced slightly less muscle pain for a couple of days once all the amalgams were out. To me, this meant that my health problems weren't largely due to the electrical current. I am loaded with mercury and also, unfortunately, we then did many months (averaging 3x a week) of EDTA IV chelation. Do NOT do this! The point I wanted to make is that I, chronically ill for over 30 years, having had them removed in this way, worked out well for me. We took all the necessary precautions, and other than me being exposed to the dental chemicals during the refilling of the cavities (I'm very chemically sensitive, but we used a composite I tested the best with as far as bio-compatibility), the procedures themselves went well for me. : Donna >> wrote: I had heard from a few people locally that the >>only safe way to do this was to remove no more than two at a time - >>that's why I thought it wasn't the right protocol.
