After talking to the doctor, it seems as if my T3's and T4's are in or

approaching normal range. These are the results:

T3 T4 TSI

11/18 183 11.2

10/10 270 14.9 151%

range 60-180 4.5-12 125% baseline

I thought for certain he would lower me from 30 mg per day but when I asked

he said " not now,I'll see you in 3 weeks " . I told him my hives/welts are

getting worse every day so he said call back on Monday and if they are still

bad maybe we'll lower to 20mg. But he wasn't too enthusiatic about it. My

question is does anyone out there who has had experience in this think I'm

coming down too fast to stay on this dose for another 4 weeks (3 weeks for

visit plus 1 week for labs) as he would have me do?

I remember a post a few weeks ago where someone said you have to settle into

dose before you lower even if your tests reflect change or something like

that. I want to add that I am very happy the numbers are where they are but

I don't want to go hypo either.

I took Benedryl for a day but read in Elaine's Book (I'm pretty sure it was

from there)

that anti-histamines effect the eyes. Since I worry about my eyes, I'm

scared to chance it. So after a one day reprise I'm suffering again. It is

very upsetting to me because I can't focus on anything but scratching. I'm

fed up with the whole thing. I've had a one thing after another pop up since

Sunday and was really looking forward to reducing my dose today. I

appreciate any help and hopefully soon I won't have to ask any more

questions.
