It has taken me a long time to come to grips with having to go back on chemo again. I don't think it has gotten the best of me yet but I think I had to prepare myself for the next leg of my journey. I will begin Folfox with Avastin on the 25th. My latest CT shows 2 of the 3 liver tumors have doubled (but still small on now 4 cm) and the last liver tumor is necrotic from the Photdynamic Therapy. My CEA is up to 154. I still feel and look great, but it is time to finally go back on chemo after a one year chemo holiday. They will finally ad Avastin, which I have not had so far. I do know that everyday I live I beat the monster. Ken the boys and I just had a wonderful trip to the Bahamas because my oldest son is off to RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) in a few weeks and it was his graduation present. I am so sad and so happy at the same time. He will be 6hrs from home yet it is so wonderful to have him accepted into such a great school. I will miss him dearly.
