Guest guest
Hi, Jody, Tapazole is 5 mg. twice a day, and has been that way for some time now. Last labs reported her best numbers yet. Levoxyl is 0.05 mg once a day. No changes in either one in about three months now. You know, her endo never recommended a baseline ophthalmologist exam, although she'd just had a regular eye exam right before all this started. Two visits ago I pressed him for more information, since he'd adjusted her meds and started the Levoxyl over the phone previously. He kept backing out of the room and basically insulted my husband and me by saying that " the internet really isn't a good place for information " . I was so fried. I'd never told him we use a support group but he apparently figured out we'd been doing our homework and didn't want to converse with us too much. I felt he was irritated that we're trying to learn more about our daughter's condition and disease, although in every other visit he's been stellar in his approach. I finally decided he might have been having a bad day when he didn't want to discuss much with us. End of rambling here. :-) I stopped vitamin C today and will watch for any changes. I hate to drag her into the office for blood work if I can help her with lowering or cutting out the vitamin C. sent some excellent information on C.
