Guest guest Posted April 5, 2008 Report Share Posted April 5, 2008 after a round of ALA, I did notice what I think has been a worsening of my yeast problems. I have much worse itching, gurgling in the gut and other problems related... is this normal? I don't remember getting this so much with DMSA, or not as bad. Is ALA known for this? I stick to a rigid diet too and don't deviate off it. I'm concerned about the yeast side of things as it makes every other aspect of my condition worse if it gets fed. I suffer infections of other kinds too and they get worse as well.... Why did someone tell me on another forum that alpha lipoic acid is good for pathogens? And that it kills them off????
