Guest guest
Just got back from my dreaded endo appt., and guess what? It went great! No mention of RAI. He just showed me my labs, felt my goiter, told me if I felt hypo that I could go ahead and reduce my dose since my TSH was in the high part of the range, to get labs done again in March at my GP unless I needed them sooner, and we wouldn't schedule a followup appt. until he sees the March labs. I feel very fortunate. I feel bad that your appointment didn't go so well, Kristi. I didn't ask for the TSI yet. I figure I'll fight that batttle when he tries to take me off the meds all together. I'm confused about what she's calling fluctuations. Have you gone hyper again recently? If you're just consistently going hypo and making dosage reductions, then that's what's supposed to happen. I hope you find a doctor you can work with -- or at least one who will keep a hands off approach and allow you to do what's best for you. Holly Dx. 8/2001; 2.5 mg.
