Hi Everyone...hope your Holiday was wonderful.

I am seeing my Endo on the 20th of this month, and wanted to get some

information from you all beforehand since the endo's seem to not be

knowledgeable on Graves...

My question is...Good/Bad about surgery? RAI? Meds? My Endo said

that I should plan to be on PTU for about 18 months, and if that does

not throw me into remission, then surgery or RAI is the other

option. Is this the norm? Can anybody shed some light on me with

this?

Surgery does not seem to be a bad option, but I would like to hear

what others who have had it think.

Thanks in advance for all your input everyone.
