Your hair test does not fulfill any of the counting rules, shows normal mineral derangement and looks like a 'normal test'. It does not show signs of mercury toxicity, however you would need to do some trial chelation to assess if this were true. You could be mercury poisoned with a lot of mercury selectively concentrated in your brain, and still have a normal looking test. In this case ALA is likely going to be the chelator you respond to as it clears mercury from the brain. Your ratio's that are out are: 1) Na/K indicating possible thyroid problems. Test Free T3, Free T4, TSH, Ferritin and both thyroid antibodies. 2) Ca/Mg indicating possible blood sugar regulation issues. Eat frequent protein meals, avoid sugar. 3) Ca/P is almost out on the low side indicating that you are a fast metabolizers, which usually make a lot of Adrenaline (eat high fat diet and a lot of Vit D, need digestive enzymes) Andy says, " ..... someone with a calcium to phosphorus ratio below 1 may be quite toxic but have all the bars in the toxic element section of the hair test within the green zone. " Your zinc is heading off high meaning you need more of it. 50mg is likely to suffice. Consider adrenal saliva test despite your adrenal ratio being okay, as your sodium is very high. Though not part of this protocol, Dr Eck/ suggest that high sodium reflected high aldosterone, as " Aldosterone serves to increase the sodium level, which in turn, is associated with increased volatility of temperament " . " Anger may be due to increased sodium levels " . It suggests a high level of emotional aggressiveness. I only mention this in case you connect to it, as unfortunately there is not much else to read from this test. Seems metabolic probelsm are what this hair test most reflects. The metablism is controlled by hormones (and mercury can be sitting in the brain interferring with their regulators e.g. hypothalamus), so that should be your next step in terms of testing. Cortisol saliva tests and Thyroid tests. DeanSA
