Guest guest
Thanks for the info, Sue. In the middle of the night, do you just do a spritz of mouthwash, then swallow it? And if so, does your mouth feel wetter? I just keep a cup of water next to the bed and take a sip/swish/swallow whenever I awake (which is lately several times during each night). But that only helps for a little while. B Barbara McD IPF, Sept 08 Beautiful Western NC Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. I think it’s due to the meds plus the C-PAP machine. Anyway I have a squirt/spray bottle of Biotene mouthwash in my nightstand and use it whenever I need it during the night. Biotene also makes a thicker paste that you squeeze out and it seems to adhere to the teeth better and lasts longer—says up to 4 hours. The gel (which I believe is a new product by Biotene) is supposed to last up to 8 hours. They also make a gum but I only have the dry mouth at night so I don’t use it.
