It depends if your adrenal function is low, and how low your adrenal function is. If it is just a tad low, diet and supplements, plus life style changes, will help tremendously, if you are willing to make the right changes. If a person has seriously low adrenal function their ability to heal will be compromised, which will seriously slow the chelation process and leave them vulnerable to infections and periods of collapse. So far it seems the only suffering I've incurred from it is > being skinny, wrinkled, and small-breasted. You would need to look up and match your symptoms to other symptoms of adrenal insufficiency and decide if you are willing to obtain saliva tests and if you are willing to modify your diet, add the appropriate supplements, and possibly make life style modifications. I can cope with that, especially if it means in > the process my hormone deficiency will keep me from conceiving an innocent child in a > still-toxic body. We do not know for sure that adrenal insufficiency is contributing to your weight loss and we can not predict over the internet what will interfere with your ability to conceive. There may be several factors involved. We can not draw conclusions based on the limited information you have given us. I believe that Dean was meaning that adrenal insufficiency CAN interfere with fertility. You must understand that I am a Quiverfull Christian. That is, for biblical > reasons, my husband and I choose to eschew all forms of birth control in order to welcome > whatever children God my want to bless us with. Your religious beliefs are your own and totally your own business. I understand that you are mentioning them to show the reason why you choose not to use birth control. That is totally your own decision and it would be best for us not to get involved in your own religious beliefs and decisions. What I would like to point out is that it would not be good to conceive a child while moving mercury during chelation. Andy has posted on the subject in the past and his posts can be found by searching archives - I do not have them at my fingertips. He is the best person to give an educated estimate of when it would be best to conceive after the chelation process is over. Certainly he would advise not to conceive during chelation. So, perhaps having low adrenal and > perhaps also low thyroid could be God's way of keeping my future child from being > conceived until my body is done chelating, and ready to start proper hormonal function > again. No? Please tell me if I'm overlooking something important here. Couldn't I just take > the Vit. A, Vit. C., Vit. E., Vit. B, milk thistle, EFA oils, and the other " most important " > supplements as I go through this DMSA + ALA chelating process, and let myself be retain > poor adrenal function until the mercury is out of my pituitary, thus resulting in proper > natural fertility again? Using the above reasoning to justify contraception avoidance would not be wise. I do not believe that low adrenal function and low thyroid will prevent conception - even if you have those two problems, which we can not say for sure. J That way I'd be able to do this right, and avoid contraception, too, > right? > > Abrenica > >
