Guest guest
Hi Everyone,Well, this has been an eventful week. As posted earlier, I had gallium scans again last week which indicated some improvement in my sarcoid. Pulmo visit today with PFT's and followup. He was pleased with improvement on scans, but not pleased with blood work; apparantly the MTX is lowering my white blood cell count. So he has reduced the MTX (to 10mg weekly) as well as the prednisone (to 5mg daily). PFT's showed mild improvement in volume, flow and spirometry but still severely reduced difussion.Since I feel better, I'm going to view this as "IMPROVEMENT"!Roxanne, 59, South Carolina 2006 Asthma/ PF 2008 PF/ Sarcoidosis/Gerd Lady Slipper Orchid
