FIRST SITE

http://www.drkaslow.com/html/adrenal_insufficiency.html

" A person with undiagnosed adrenal dysfunction (who is therefore a

salt loser) on a salt restricted diet may be slowly deteriorating as

the result. "

" There appears to be no food that naturally contains more sodium than

potassium and therefore salt must be added to the diet. This is why

Gandhi led the revolution in India. Salt is essential to life. In

's Disease, where there is a complete non-function (atrophy)

of the adrenal cortex, patient's can suffer from prostration, die

from excess perspiration or a diet high in potassium or low in

sodium. "

MY QUESTIONS FIRST SITE

it seems to say potassium contains lots of sodium which is good BUT

then the last sentence it gets a little confusing where I think it

says a patient can die from a diet high in potassium (I thought it

first said potassium is good for adrenals) OR a diet low in sodium

some other sites say use only Himalayan sea salt NOT ionized salt

SECOND SITE

http://www.fredacare.com/sample-def.htm

" Keeping your salt intake low will also help avoid potassium

deficiency. :

QUESTIONS SECOND SITE

seems to imply that a lot of salt may lead to potassium defiency

Thanks
