Mainly doing this to help ward of the bacterial overgrowth that just keeps coming back. Anyway, about 4 or so hours later on two separate days I got intense pain (feels like someone's taking a knife and twisting it around in the area of my gut just below my belly button) and then some gas and diarrhea/unformed stools. The pain was excruciating and passed or lowered when I was able to go to the bathroom. I know I've had skin testing, blood testing and stool testing for egg allergies, all came back negative. So I don't think it's a food allergy, could be some form of intollerance partly caused by my bacterial overgrowth. But who knows for sure. Anyway, I noticed in searching some here that sulfur foods mentioned as problematic for some who are high in sulfur or that it can stir up mercury. But didn't see any symptoms (that I could find) similar to mine. Is this related to mercury or just an intollernace? I seem to remember problems in the past when eating eggs, but none as severe as it's been the last couple of years with this and other foods. Dairy used to give me pain like this, at least dairy in chedar cheese. --------Dairy and eggs are both sulfur foods, so that may be the problem. Eggs are very agreeable for me, and I don't seem to have a problem with sulfur foods, so I can't say what the symptoms would be. Does dairy still give you pains, or don't you eat it any more? There is a list of sulfur foods on pages 195-196 in AI. If those are the foods that are giving you trouble, then you will probably feel better if you avoid or limit them.---------Jackie Thanks, Mike _._,_.___ Messages in this topic (1) Reply (via web post) | Start a new topic Messages MARKETPLACE ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Earn your degree in as few as 2 years - Advance your career with an AS, BS, MS degree - College-Finder.net.
