It was my understanding that if it was less than 4 hours until my next dose, I should skip it. But if it is 4+ hours, to take the missed dose when I remember. I was just looking at info on PTU on the net (drugs.com I think) and it said to take it when you remember it or, if it's close to the next dose, to DOUBLE dose. Can this be right? Wouldn't that make me feel hypO? Also, because of my schedule, I have taken to taking my PTU at 7am, 2pm and 10pm. As you can see, that's not quite 8 hours apart, but close. Sound OK? And one last thing... What are some of the PTU side effects? That's what I was actually looking for on drugs.com. All I got were the serious ones. I was looking for the less serious, just weird ones.
