O/T, acupuncture in dentistry. A Hair Test, a Few Questions, and a Hi

HI ,

I can add two cents on your question on anesthesia.

I may sound crazy, but I have many times had fillings placed with NO

anesthesia. I learned this from my Aunt who was allergic to anesthesia. She

would

get fillings all the time with no anesthesia and said it was fine, every once

in a while you might get a little zing and then it was over. So I started

trying that when I got my first cavity at 15 years old. It went fine. Ive done

that for four fillings now. I would not recommend this if you have really deep

cavities or very bad teeth. Those nerve endings are sure to be closer to the

area of trouble and if you jump too much, the drill could hurt you.

Also, I looked up acupuncture as an alternative anesthesia in dentistry. It

is something I have never tried but heard about. Below is the first GOOGLE
