Guest guest
Actually, Andy has said that metals removal increases A LITTLE LESS THAN the square root of the increased dose. So it really makes no sense to go up to a dose of chelator that produces a lot of side effects. Low and slow seems to work best. Dean In frequent-dose-chelation Sherratt wrote: If this figure that doubling the dose gets you 30% more chelation is correct, that would mean that 25mg only increases the amount of metals chelated by 70% relative to 6mg. -------Andy has also said it another way, that excretion increases by about the square root, so taking 4X as much chelator will only increase excretion by about 2X. But symptoms increase linearly, so you would have 4X more/worse symptoms, but only double the excretion, so he doesn't feel it is worth it.---------Jackie
