Guest guest
Louis, The following is from the website and the only information I ever saw in regards to changing the by-laws on anything. The address on the website for me is accurate. I never saw a meeting posted as stated on the website below for the Jan 2009 meeting as well as many other details I won't go into. I don't feel someone saying they sent an email to the founding members is good enough. Some had not been active for 10 years, but there mailing address is good on the website and all legal papers for most of them. I can and should ask dozens of other questions I have but will save space for today on the egroup. I did keep checking the website as it stated for the details for the meeting to be posted and you can go check that they never were, nor have I seen a meeting posted for EMSAT in years here or on the website except what you see below. The message below doesn't even give what day. We use to post these meeting on this egroup, the Texas EMS Magazine, Texas EMS Conference, emails and mailouts to ALL members addresses trying to make the " best " effort to reach any and everyone we could. So water under the bridge is just that. What is the status of EMSAT and how can I get my questions about the association asked. It would help EMSAT and save me a lot of typing if someone would just tell the EMS Community what is going on with EMSAT, and most of all where we can easily obtain the information that would answer the most common questions. EMSAT is a Non-Profit still I suppose and It has received money from the public ie; telemarketing in the past and other donors and EMSAT has legal requirement to meet for IRS, Sec. Of State and others. Has that been done and is currently up to date since it can be checked with a little research? Thanks Ron a.. Special Board Meeting a.. EMSAT will be holding a special board meeting in January 2009 for the purpose of reviewing and revising its current bylaws. The location and details of the meeting will be posted at least 72 hours before the meeting. Please visit us again to see meeting details. From: Louis N. Life Memberships yes but not such a provaion of same. I was told that an E-Mail was sent to the last know address of those in that catagory. I can not state it was and would not challange anyone saying it was not as I have no way to prove it was. Ron, you too are a great guy and I certianly respect what you've done in the past locally and statewide in you're career. We have many things in common o.
