NEW YORK RESPONDING EMS CRASH RESULTS IN CIVILIAN FATALITY

A crash between a Fort Drum ambulance and a pickup truck yesterday

claimed the life

of a woman. The ambulance was attempting to meet with another

ambulance for an ALS

intercept when it crashed with a pickup truck. The driver of the truck

was airlifted

to a hospital with NLT injuries but an elderly woman, who was a

passenger in the

truck died from her injuries, deputies said. The EMS crew suffered

minor injuries,

deputies said. There are no other facts yet on exactly what happened.
