TETAF Talking Points on the Driver Responsibility Program

At the Department of Public Safety hearing on the Driver Responsibility

Program today TETAF will be presenting the attached talking points. You

are encouraged to share this information with your local elected

officials as concern over the program has reached a crescendo pitch.

While today's hearing is intended to take testimony on the proposed rule

changes to program mechanics, it does present an important opportunity

for providers in the trauma system to provide information on how vital

funding from DRP is to the Texas Trauma System!

The public hearing will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. today, April 26 in

Senate Committee Hearing Room E1.028 in the State Capitol Extension

Building.
