You can find this is Texas. We have a certified EMT in the Panhandle

that is listed on the DPS site as a registered sex offender. I reported

it to our area contact. She checked and said the state level knew about

it and would not do anything about it. I was told that there are 8 or 9

registered sex offenders that have certifications in Texas.

The new law only covers certian dates. I don't think it would be legal

for a law to say " if you committed an act of X ever in your life we

pull your certification.
