Steve,

Not to rain on your parade, but has CERT been able to keep payroll current?

When I worked for CERT, they were up to 2 months behind in payroll. I had to

threaten litigation in order for my pay to be brought current when CERT

terminated my employment. I know of at least four employees and/or former

employees that are STILL waiting to get paid! Case in point:

Poche vs. Texas Air Corps, Inc. dba CERT Emergency Services -

http://www.jenner.com/files/tbl_s69NewsDocumentOrder/FileUpload500/5801/Poch

e%20v.%20Texas%20Air%20Corps.pdf

Also, right after I left CERT, the employees there were told that the

company was sold to a " " out of Beaumont, yet the state has no record of

the change in ownership. Was this a lie by the company?

Oh, and is Floyd Parrott still hiding from the people he bought the

helicopter from? I have been contacted by three different entities (one of

them a governmental entity) trying to find Floyd to get their helicopter

that he " has not paid for " back.

Just a word of warning from a former employee of CERT to anyone thinking of

going to work for them; If you are going to go to work for them, do your

homework and be informed.

Sincerely,

Titter

Here’s some rain for YOUR parade.

Payment of payroll to other employees is something that is

NONE of your business, but since you mention your own, I will address that.

You were paid in accordance with law and

company policy – which you signed.  Your

threat of litigation resulted in a claim you filed with the Texas Workforce

Commission, which was denied in its entirety; the TWC ruled that you were not

entitled to ANY of the compensation you were claiming.  Case in whose point?

Payroll matters concerning other individuals are

confidential, and will not be discussed here at all.

Regarding the Poche v. Texas Air Corps matter, that is still

an open case so I cannot comment upon it directly.  I will observe, however,

that you included a

link to a law firm’s website, which appears to have a brief summary news blurb

on the matter.  This blurb involved

jurisdiction matters, not the substance of the case; the substance of the case

involves compensation matters in part, but also has many more aspects which are

not related to compensation at all.  You

appeared to selectively look for comments, and didn’t bother to even look at

the court proceedings, which are also public record.  The one blurb you appear

to have cited, by

the way, was held for the defendant (Texas Air Corps, d/b/a CERT).

Whether the sale of the company (described in confidential

communications with employees not as “was sold†but rather as “in the

process

of being soldâ€) was real or a stratagem, as you note those discussions took

place after you left the company.  One of

the purposes of such a stratagem might be an attempt to determine which

employee was leaking confidential company information to parties outside the

company who had no legal or ethical right to it.  Guess it succeeded, didn’t

it?  Thanks for your assistance in locating the

leak.

As far as the company helicopter is concerned, that aircraft

was obtained and disposed of several years prior to your involvement with CERT

– and never involved CERT at all (only the parent company).  The aircraft was

bought, and the previous

owner paid in full, years ago.  The

aircraft was disposed of due to a mission change several years prior to your

involvement with the d/b/a called CERT.

And why would anyone – much less some hypothetical “government

entity†– contact a disgruntled entry-level (ECA with how much experience??)

terminated

former employee in an attempt to find a person and organization whose address

has remained the same for more than five years – and is listed in the Yellow

Pages?

A comment to all of you reading this – if you want to know

about a company does it make more sense to talk to someone who was terminated

from a company, or people who still work there?

If someone is really interested, they are welcome to come by our station

and talk to any of them.

Bob Kellow made this comment in regard to your post:

Your posting has been turned over to our attorney (Willis E.

, Esq. / Kingwood) for investigation and appropriate action, so you (and

maybe others) may soon get the opportunity Bob spoke of.

Steve,

Not to rain on your parade, but has CERT been able to keep payroll current?

Also, right after I left CERT, the employees there were told that the

Oh, and is Floyd Parrott still hiding from the people he bought the

Just a word of warning from a former employee of CERT to anyone thinking of

an open case so I cannot comment upon it directly.

Your posting has been turned over to our attorney (Willis E.

maybe others) may soon get the opportunity Bob spoke of.

Steve,

Not to rain on your parade, but has CERT been able to keep payroll current?

When I worked for CERT, they were up to 2 months behind in payroll. I had to

threaten litigation in order for my pay to be brought current when CERT

terminated my employment. I know of at least four employees and/or former

employees that are STILL waiting to get paid! Case in point:

Poche vs. Texas Air Corps, Inc. dba CERT Emergency Services -

http://www.jenner. com/files/ tbl_s69NewsDocum entOrder/ FileUpload500/

5801/Poch

e%20v.%20Texas% 20Air%20Corps. pdf

Sincerely,

Titter

Steve,

While you do have a point, I was finally paid. However, it was NOT in

accordance with company policy. Company policy was on the 15th and end of

month. That NEVER happened during the duration of my employment. And just

about every check I was given didn't clear the bank. I had to visit the bank

every morning (sometimes up to a week) until it would clear. In fact, you

told me directly when you handed me my final check that you KNEW it would

not clear and that I had to wait until you called me to cash it. Is that in

accordance with company policy? It is definitely NOT in accordance with

Texas Law.

And yes, my TWC claim was denied, but that was only AFTER I had threatened

litigation and only AFTER you had made payment. The threat of litigation was

not a result of the TWC claim denial. The denial from TWC was AFTER the

threat and AFTER you had made payment for wages owed.

And yes, I have talked to several people looking for that helicopter. And I

did provide each one everything I had on the company. I have documentation

on this and will gladly provide it to your attorney. I will take the time to

look up your attorney, not tonight though, and will happily forward to him

the contact information that I have for the people that have contacted me

regarding that helicopter. He/You can contact them directly to verify. I

didn't, and still don't, feel it pertinent to post their information here.

Yes I am an ECA, and have been licensed by the state since 12/30/2008. Does

that mean that the facts that I have presented any less important than what

you are saying, I don't think so.

While the sale, or proposed sale, of the company was a stratagem or not, I

heard the same from multiple people. Some former and some current (well,

they were when I last talked to them, guess I will have to contact them and

see if they are still employed).

To the rest of the list; I will NOT post anything further regarding

TAC/CERT, but I felt that I needed to correct a few errors in Mr. Bowman's

email.

Subject: RE: EMS Positions Open

,

Here's some rain for YOUR parade.

Payment of payroll to other employees is something that is

NONE of your business, but since you mention your own, I will address that.

You were paid in accordance with law and

company policy - which you signed. Your

threat of litigation resulted in a claim you filed with the Texas Workforce

Commission, which was denied in its entirety; the TWC ruled that you were

not

entitled to ANY of the compensation you were claiming. Case in whose point?

Payroll matters concerning other individuals are

confidential, and will not be discussed here at all.

Regarding the Poche v. Texas Air Corps matter, that is still

an open case so I cannot comment upon it directly. I will observe, however,

that you included a

link to a law firm's website, which appears to have a brief summary news

blurb

on the matter. This blurb involved

jurisdiction matters, not the substance of the case; the substance of the

case

involves compensation matters in part, but also has many more aspects which

are

not related to compensation at all. You

appeared to selectively look for comments, and didn't bother to even look at

the court proceedings, which are also public record. The one blurb you

appear to have cited, by

the way, was held for the defendant (Texas Air Corps, d/b/a CERT).

Whether the sale of the company (described in confidential

communications with employees not as " was sold " but rather as " in the

process

of being sold " ) was real or a stratagem, as you note those discussions took

place after you left the company. One of

the purposes of such a stratagem might be an attempt to determine which

employee was leaking confidential company information to parties outside the

company who had no legal or ethical right to it. Guess it succeeded, didn't

it? Thanks for your assistance in locating the

leak.

As far as the company helicopter is concerned, that aircraft

was obtained and disposed of several years prior to your involvement with

CERT

- and never involved CERT at all (only the parent company). The aircraft

was bought, and the previous

owner paid in full, years ago. The

aircraft was disposed of due to a mission change several years prior to your

involvement with the d/b/a called CERT.

And why would anyone - much less some hypothetical " government

entity " - contact a disgruntled entry-level (ECA with how much experience??)

terminated

former employee in an attempt to find a person and organization whose

address

has remained the same for more than five years - and is listed in the Yellow

Pages?

A comment to all of you reading this - if you want to know

about a company does it make more sense to talk to someone who was

terminated

from a company, or people who still work there?

If someone is really interested, they are welcome to come by our station

and talk to any of them.

Bob Kellow made this comment in regard to your post:

Your posting has been turned over to our attorney (Willis E.

(and

maybe others) may soon get the opportunity Bob spoke of.

Steve,

Not to rain on your parade, but has CERT been able to keep payroll current?

When I worked for CERT, they were up to 2 months behind in payroll. I had to

threaten litigation in order for my pay to be brought current when CERT

terminated my employment. I know of at least four employees and/or former

employees that are STILL waiting to get paid! Case in point:

Poche vs. Texas Air Corps, Inc. dba CERT Emergency Services -

http://www.jenner. com/files/ tbl_s69NewsDocum entOrder/ FileUpload500/

5801/Poch

e%20v.%20Texas% 20Air%20Corps. pdf

I'd suggest that both parties consider looking up the acronym STFU.
