Guest guest
I was simply replying to an email which had some comments regarding the general location of this medic and those ems systems. I apologize for not changing the subject lime. Sent from my iPhone On May 18, 2010, at 5:01 PM, " Louis N. Guest guest
I agree with you 100%. My point was in regards to the comment of Acadian providing better care toward the public. Now, admittedly, I suppose the comments could be taken to be in regards to Acadian taking over from AMR, however, I felt as though there was an implication of Acadian taking over the public-sector EMS terf. I was merely attempting to move toward moderation and/or caution, specifically with regards to the Acadian vs San Fire Department issue, because as far as I'm aware, there is currently no vying for the city's EMS on the part of Acadian. And, as I've said, people tend to have very strong opinions in this matter, and I see more and more tension on a county level as a result of it. I worry that implications of Acadian " taking over " SAFD's current EMS district are why I have seen a tinge of hostility from San Fire Department paramedics.
