Be prepared for the " eating our young " haters to turn on you. Let them. It's a statement of fact no different than how some want to be lawyers aren't right for that profession and just as as some want to be priests aren't right for the priesthood. While I am no PC Poster Boy and in fact think PC or rather being too PC hurts not only the society and community it hurts the individual it does not change reality. I wanted to play pro baseball as a 6 year old. I surly could have if only for my inability to run, hit, or catch. Little league taught me it was ok to fail and I moved on to firefighting. > I would be interested in hearing the clues that others have identified that lead you to write someone off as " not cut out for EMS " . They certainly exist. Well I don't like to write people off but I agree there are clues. > My favourite is the student who constantly interrupts the instructor with, " Do we have to know this for the test? " Too easy ... it's on my test and you must pass mine to get to take the Exam. That generally gets the message across. My favorite was " what right do you have to require an 80 average? The State only requires a 70. To that I said it's my class not the States. > > Rob > > > > ------------------------------------ > >
