I don't know what's going on

Sorry I haven't been around, I haven't checked my e-mail the last few days.Okay, so the week of the 22nd, I go to my pcp's nurse practitioner to find out if I have a UTI before reporting a flare to my neuro.  Only leukocytes show up in the urinalysis.  They do a culture, but the culture comes back contaminated.  I was on Macrobid the first time through.  They are treating it as a UTI because it " seems " like a UTI.  Last Wendesday was my last day on Macrobid.  Thursday, I was " uncomfortable " after urinating.  Called to see the nurse practitioner again on Friday.  In the intervening time frame - between then and getting my antibiotics - the uncomfortable feeling got worse.  I was sure it was a UTI - plus the whole going to the bathroom every 20 minutes, etc.  Again, urinalysis only shows luekocytes.  They send off for another culture and give me Bactrim this time rather than Macrobid.  MS symptoms everywhere, just plain driving me crazy - especially the exhaustion  Yesterday, while I was laying down, I get a call from the doctor's office - no bacteria on the culture, so I do NOT have a UTI. 

I just don't know what to do.  My MS symptoms aren't as bad as they were the week of the 22nd - well, the 24th on for 5 days when I was on the cane, but they are still there.Tina
