Guest guest
Where I was working, the contract was not renewed so they tried to find jobs for all of us. I was transfer to a ‘sister’ company but I could tell that they really did not need someone else in the office and I was let go July 15th. I have been on the job search since. I have yet to get a cheque from Unemployment yet because I was given severance and I had a lot of vacation pay … unfortunately with my meds and everything, that ran out too fast. I am now borrowing money from family for my car payments (rent). Hopefully, I will find work soon … I am so bored at home. Guest guest
We were in the recession too, but came out better than our US friends. Unfortunately listening to the news, with turmoil in the EU and their banks, we all might fall into another one. Fingers crossed.
