Guest guest
Has anyone ever gotten clarification from DSHS as to whether a for profit business that provides standby event medical services, but does not transport, is required to register with DSHS as a first responder organization? The DSHS administrative rule is not completely clear to me, although that may well be a result of the lawyer in me trying to read too much into it. My gut instinct thinks that the rule may not be broad enough to cover event medical services, but without being subject to the rule, I'm thinking that event standby services may be virtually unregulated.
