Guest guest
Actually your life is anything but boring! You are so blessed to have a loving family around you, and to still be able to go out and feed the chickies, and ducks. All your critters scurrying everywhere. And even the unwanted ones puts an element of excitement in the air. Granted not happy excitement, but nonetheless something to keep you on your toes. I could go into what BORING is really like describing my life, but I don’t want you to think I am downplaying your circumstances and one up ya. Its just that I would give anything to live your life. As far as making your own soap, that’s pretty cool too. I imagine when you get use to a certain smell then something different wouldn’t be what your use to, so it probably stinks. I know there are a lot of store bought soaps that have such a high concentration of chemicals in them, and perfumes that I can’t tolerate most of them. Steve brought home some LED candles and they have a faint vanilla smell and I can already feel my eyes burning and itching. I can smell vanilla out of the bottle, but mix it with a perfume like substance and I have allergic reactions every time. I never use to. I ALWAYS had something burning and filling my house with a scent of some sort. I can get away with cinnamon and patchouli, but that’s about it. I am so sorry about Pistol, I was really praying that she would be home by now. L We haven’t been doing anything exciting around here. We started watching Lord Of the Rings trilogy again, 4th time, and I still see things I never saw before. We had Taco Bell for lunch, and just a half a sandwich for dinner. Today Steve will cook a roast w/potatoes, carrots and onions in the slow cooker. Then we will eat off of that for a few nights. I have a new dentist I will be seeing on Wed. Get this his name is Dr. Darling! Lol… I’m debating whether to go in and say “Hello, Darlin”! I want to so bad. Lol…anyhow he has all the state of the art equipment and the receptionist said he gives the best shots. Can’t even feel them. Now that’s my kind of dentist. I am actually looking forward to going, and that NEVER happens. I have a lot of work to be done, and he also can make the crowns right there in his lab. So you can have everything done right then, and not have to come back a lot. He does sedation dentistry too. Glad your cold is being taken of. I don’t see much of a true fall around here. Its still warmer than usual, but the nights are getting colder. We still have to turn the AC on at night to cool the house down even tho the outside temp is cooler. We don’t understand that? The inside isn’t turned up very high, but this house seems to hold the heat and if we don’t cool it down then it stays warm all night. We both like to sleep in a cooler temp. That’s about it for me…….. Hugs for all, Jackie J From: MSersLife [mailto:MSersLife ] On Behalf Of SharonSent: Saturday, October 22, 2011 8:00 PMTo: GroupSubject: Update Time... (Sharon's boring life:) I have such a boring life:) But here is my little update anyway.... I took three different kinds of cold medicine yesterday and finally found one that works! I had a good night and slept quite well finally. I dreamed all night about making soap. I would get up to go to the bathroom and went right back to the dream each time. In the dream I was 'remembering' how to make soap--all night. lol In fact I did buy the supplies for a batch of soap two weeks ago but haven't made it yet. I have needed to make some for several months because we are totally out of my homemade soap and I had to buy store soap. My 9 year old granddaughter said the store soap STINKS. lol This morning I slept in til 6:20 am and felt good when I got up. I started doing last nights' dishes and cleaning the kitchen. My son came and and asked " are you better or are you just all 'hopped up' from cold medicine? " rofl I am feeling better but I was " hopped up " . I went out to feed and water the chickens and ducks this morning and again this evening. I have a chair I sit in in the poultry yard and the birds surround me, asking for goodies. They are so spoiled. I also went out front to fill the wild bird feeders with sunflower seeds. The blue jays were excited and flocked to the feeders as soon as I came back inside. The cat (Pistol) still has not come back. I am certain at this point some predator got her. It is so sad for us all. My daughter and family are still in the Valley (Phoenix area) but should be home on Monday. My grandsons are spending a few more days visiting their father in the hospital and their little sister who is recovering at her home. Thanks to everyone who kept the family in their thoughts and prayers. The weather is beautiful! We are getting a real FALL:) Last year we skipped straight to winter in September and the leaves died instead of changing colors. This year the leaves are gorgeous. I love the fall when it's a real fall. lol I look forward to all of your updates. big hugs to each of you SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
You probably burned incense back in the day. (me too:) Ah, the wafting scent of sandlewood incense while grooving on the blacklight posters, huh? Now I am sensitive to all sorts of scents and smells, too. We aren't alone in that though because there are many chemically sensitive people in the world. This area has a large chemically sensitive community because of the clean air and wide open spaces. It's not unusual to see people wearing masks in town. Many of the chemically sensitive are also sensitive to electricity and must live off-grid and not near power lines. I don't use any scents or fragrances in my soap. The store soap I bought was Ivory which is one of the milder store soaps in fragrance I think. Some of the store soaps burn my eyes as I go down the aisle. lolGreat news on the new dentist. Dr. Darling sounds like a sweetie:)hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
