One of my school friends lives up in Wisconsin. She has a four year old little boy, Calvin. Monday, while he was playing, he fell and hit his head on a large rock. They took him to the little local emergency room, and they said he didn't have a concussion. They were going to release him, but he was still having symptoms. Then he lost the reflexes on the left side of his body, and became paralyzed on his left side. He was airlifted to the local Children's Hospital, where more in-depth tests were done. When he hit his head, he severed an artery, probably in his brain, and he has a bruise on his brain. He had a stroke while he was in the other hospital, and his carotid artery is severely damaged as well. For those of you on facebook - https://www.facebook.com/pages/Thoughts-and-Prayers-for-Calvin-Hagenbeck/231009286964085

They need all the support they can get!My father talked to Karie's father this morning - they are friends.  Karie's dad is a barber, so he went in for the morning, then cancelled his afternoon appointments and flew up there.

In my previous reply, I posted a link to the facebook page created people can send their prayers and good wishes the family's way.  They are updating through that.  I'll pass along any new information I hear also.
