I am freezing. It's not that cold here but I have been shivering and shaking for a week or more. My fingers are icy, my feet are icy... even my nose is icy:) I need one of those nose warmers like in the photo I sent to Jackie! lol Today it was 54 for a high. The low temps have been hovering around 32 but I feel like it's 10 minus. I talked today with my brother, Chuck, who lives in Alaska. He said it was 1 degree this morning. He is thinking about moving back to warmer country, he said. He thought of it last winter, too. But during the summer he is happy. As cold as I am here can you imagine what it would be if I had staying in Alaska!?!I've been

shopping online for my 8 grandkids for Christmas. Some of my grandkids are bookworms and I enjoy searching for good deals on special books for them. Thankfully the bookworms are fine with getting used books so I hunt Ebay for screaming bargains on the books they want. My 15 year old granddaughter is not into reading so she's a little harder. I am sorry you are having such a chill. Have you been having tea or cocoa? Can you wear a hat?I have a terrible cold, I can barely breathe my nose is extremely stuffed. Makes it hard to sleep . is completely fine right now. He does have a bit of a cough.my eye keeps watering and tearing, it's bothersome.Temps here are bizarre. We ve had really low last week, but are now having 60 degree weather. I have to drive up to Syracuse on sat for hockey. I think it's about 3 and a half or 4 hrs. Hope my cold is better by then.I m still overwhelmed with my house. The clutter is killing me. Makes me feel, in utter chaos. Made chicken parm for dinner tonight, came out pretty well.Hard to type on this iPad,so I will write more tomorrow.my temp has been running between 94 and 95--any thoughts? It's getting cold here, too.  All this week we are in the 40's.  We had a brief warm up for Thanksgiving (just turkey day, back to cooler temps the day after) so I have dragged out all my cold weather gear.  But this leaves me with a dilema - around the house, I normally don't wear shoes, I get some issues with tendons or ligaments, or something, but it can become painful....but now my feet are freezing.  I'm asking hubby for slippers for Christmas.  As long as the ones he gets don't make my feet sweat, that should be a good compromise.

We had to have a new thermostat installed last month or so - and we have a regular digital thermometer.  The two disagree on the temperature it is (the digital thermometer is sitting right on top of the thermostat).  I tend to believe the digital thermometer, because 70 degrees according to the thermostat feels colder than 70 degrees did last year.
