Yes I have had vertigo as part of MS. It was a real problem for me for several years and now is suddenly gone. Perhaps it would be a good idea for to see her doctor or at least to call the doc.I hope she feels fantastic by morning. Oh yes!! I have vertigo very bad. Since my husband died 6 months ago it is awful, like I’ve fallen off a cliff. I now walk with a walker most of the time.

No it isn't an antihistamine. It's in the same family as valium. It worked for me at that time. I have also use Antivert. It's over the counter (here in AZ anyway). The generic name is Meclozine (or meclizine) and it's cheap!hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Hi Reb,

During my last attack did have vertigo and increased fatigue.

But also had vertigo without an increase in fatigue when my blood pressure went up.

For years I thought if I had MS it was quite enough (!) and tended to tie in any problems I was having to the MS.

My advice therefore would be - if it continues to be a problem get a general physical examination from your general practitioner.

Good advice and everyone,….i had fluid in my ears that caused dizziness, and after a good washing by my Dr.s MA, I had, had a wax build up deep inside that caused it. Hopefully ’s dizziness is as simple. Let us know what happens. nne, n, Sharon, Kate,

Kathleen, , Jackie, (and I hope I didn't forget anyone),Thanks a lot for your replies regarding

's dizzyness!

I have been away, in Gothenburg, helping her, that's why I have been "missing" here.

She is better now, most of the times at

least. It could be a lot of things, of course, including a common

virus. And high blood pressure could cause dizzyness too, in 's

case that's not a possibility however, as she is monitoring her blood

pressure (because it was a little bit too high a few years ago). She

lowered her blood pressure remarkingly fast and effective by just

minimizing her use of salt in her food – amazing how a thing like

that could have that much effect.

Thank you all for your concern and

feedback!

Hi Reb,

I have had high blood pressure in the past - so I am about to swap over to unrefined salt. I already have some Himalayan salt, but find it a bit gritty so will try Celtic salt. The stuff at the local health food store looks too white to be the real deal so I will probably need to look via the internet.

The claims are that the bleached refined salt will raise blood pressure - that and calcium deposits in the blood vessels plus refined vegetable oils in the diet - and the unrefined unbleached salt will actually help combat high blood pressure.
