Guest guest
I had a regular doctor's appointment today. Unfortunately, I had an episode where every time they took my pulse, it was somewhere over 100. It happens occasionally, and testing has revealed that nothing was wrong. But this is a new doc - just started seeing her last month. So she ran an EKG, took my pulse several times, and went and actually looked things up, before finally coming to the conclusion that it may just be from the Amitryptilene or my Geodon, but she's doing more in depth testing for my thyroid tomorrow. I have to say I love this doc, she actually spends time with you and tries to figure stuff out, as opposed to the docs that I've seen at the Medicaid clinic, but I pay for it - she takes Medicare, but not Medicaid, so I'm responsible for the copay. I told her about my stomach pain, and she looked up all of my previous endoscopies, and ordered a test for H. pylori (I've tested negative for that before), and is switching my GERD medication to see if it will help (hopefully the insurance will cover it). Guest guest
Been way too hot here, miserable for the last week. Today is almost 10 degrees cooler, though, so maybe I can get some housework caught up! Waiting to hear about neuro and endocrinology consults - mercy knows when and where these will happen. Having weird sensations/LACK of sensations in my hands now, worse on the left - the first tima ANYTHING has been worse on the left. Very peculiar! Have gotten a start, with a group on Facebook, on reading the Orthodox Study Bible through in a year. Should help me (I hope!) actually do my GOOD reading, instead of just reaching for the latest from the library. Also got a good start on stitching the model for my " wedding sampler " design, so it can go into print; Still poking into the ancestors' bidness- have moved over to my father's side for awhile, though it's more frustrating and full of " vanishing people " . Found a 7xgranny who came from England in 16(Ican't recall) at the age of 11 to be an indentured servant. And our kids think it's abuse when they have to clean their own room!!! :-) Otherwise, everything is pretty SOP.. in WY Practical Blackwork Designs http://practicalblackwork.com http://practical-blackwork.blogspot.com " You get a wonderful view from the point of no return... Guest guest
Not much going on here, Mike DID manage to get my sister's ashes and some stuff from her house, he said yesterday that he will becoming home today but so far I have heard nothing. I found homes for 3 of the kittens and Rob is going to take the rest and the mommy back up to the farm when he goes. He is talking about leaving later this week. HE still hasn't 'fessed up about the beantown babe, I am biding my time lol... I got my watches back, sent them to a place to have their batteries replaced. They oh-so-kindly offered to clean them in an ultrasonic machine for $15 each (discounting me from their "usual" $25 each), I declined, went online and bought the SAME machine for $5 (with free shipping no less) so I will be able to clean them, and the rest of my jewelry. Any time I want...free! The battery replacement wasn't bad, they cost about $8 ea, and if you send in 3 or more they don't charge for return s & h, and they are guaranteed for a year. I am going to post two of the watches on eBay as soon as I have the machine and have cleaned them, one is a pretty little watch, the band is silvertone and the face a pretty pink, I'll probably sell it pretty cheap. The second one I will auction is my sister's Anne Kein diamond watch. It is beautiful but it is also the one she was wearing when she died so I really just don't think I can wear it. It will be totally clean and shouldn't bother anyone else to wear it, just me. The third one I am keeping, a Bulova Marine Star. All three watches are calendar and waterproof to 100 ft. I have seen the Anne Klein on Amazon for $200 new and about $120 used, of course I will sell it as used. Mike said he got some things from her house that I should be able to auction as well, some leather coats, no idea what they are like but he said they're nice and should sell. The important thing he got was her ashes, now I will finally be able to scatter her, Mom and , all three together, where they wanted to be. Amen. ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ Pragmatic Visionary http://www.affiliates-natural-salt-lamps.com/pages/156.php -------Original Message-------

Guest guest
Thank you. I know that having the ashes of his grandmother and aunt in the house is bugging Robbin big-time, he will be happy when I can do what has to be done. Not too sure about me, though, I opened one of the boxes, once, and shuddered for next hour. How I will get it together to scatter all three I do not know. ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ Pragmatic Visionary http://www.affiliates-natural-salt-lamps.com/pages/156.php -- RE: What's going on? Guest guest
Where do you live Akiba? We lost one of our cats six weeks ago and his "brother" is very lonely :(To: MSersLife Sent: Tuesday, August 2, 2011 3:43 PMSubject: RE: What's going on?
