Guest guest
When kids want to get a cheap thrill, youd be surprised. I have seen freon huffed from house air conditioners, and well as autos. Back in the late 70's Draino made a can o compressed chemicals that you turn the can upside down and it blows the chemicals into the drain with force. But if you keep the can upright and push the top down, it only releases the propellant. I have seen that " Huffed " as well. There is something that doest not use any drug, that I have heard is on the rise again. We used to do this at bording school; you hyperventilate, while bending over straighten up taking a big breath, and put your fist under your chin with elbows tucked to the side. Someone behind you bear hugs you and lifts you off the floor. This immediately cuts off the o2 to the brain, but your blood o2 is saturated. It also puts a lot of pressure on the vagus nerve in the neck. It results in the instantaneous loss of consciousness. It creates and extremely euphoric effect and the person behind you, lays you to the ground. The black out only lasts for a few seconds, but to the participant, it feels like a very long time. All sense of time and orientation are lost, and it makes the brain " Swim " . As the participant comes out of it, they no longer know where they are, what is going on, nor have memory of what they did. This dissipates within 5-10 seconds and reality sets back in, as the blood flow re oxygenates the brain. We all thought that since there were no substances involved, that it was harmless. We were 14. People reacted in different ways, some would just lay there, others would go into convulsions and bark like a seal. I have read recently, that this is on the rise again, and that there HAVE been fatalities among teens. I have to say again......we were 14. Cougar!! I'll keep my Guns, my Freedom and my MONEY, You can keep the " CHANGE. " Subject: Current recreational drugs To: texasems-l Date: Saturday, February 18, 2012, 10:43 PM Howdy! Guest guest
I would also like to add, that a friend of mine died in 2001 from the " Energy drink/Alcohol " . He drank Red Bull like it was water, so he would have the energy and alertness to continue with the alcohol. He was 28, but his heart just could not keep up. He got tired, laid down and just.......passed away. I was not there, was a frind of mine from Tex Ren Faire, he died between seasons. Yet, they now have energy drinks mixed with alcohol, sold in decorative cans...23oz...with catchy names, aimed at marketing to young adults. Cougar!! Guest guest
This is another version of what is called " breath play " in the kinky sex crowd. People die of this all the time. You're probably familiar with this. When I was in law enforcement, I saw several of these. On one of these the kids came home from school and found their father with a rope around his neck, tied to the foot of the bed, with porn magazines spread all around. Called erotic asphyxia. Guest guest
Now they have an aerosol caffeine mixture that delivers 100 mg of caffeine in an inhaler. The kids are using them like candy, and FDA is now looking at it to see whether or not it should be controlled. It's marketed as a " food supplement. " Now the kids are combining it with ETOH, and it's easier and quicker then Red Bull. G Current recreational drugs To: texasems-l Date: Saturday, February 18, 2012, 10:43 PM Howdy!
