Guest guest
Now 2011 it's much harder to share with my health issues (MS) I've learned the art of saving my files and copy & paste are Very Helpful for me especially. ~Sharing memories from Thanksgiving and ny's B'day when we were kids.~ We always celebrated ny's birthday on Thanksgiving. With ourextended families, cousins aunts and uncles. ny being the birthday boy would get 1 drumstick and he'd pick from his cousins, and sisters who got the other 1 .. LO:-)Let's just say the *kids table* took on a new meaning cuz the drumsticksweren't for eating but they were for drumstick sword fights and man didwe make a mess..teehee:)When we were older of course we sat at the kids table in the kitchen notbecause we had to but we wanted too but because our children wanted to do the sword fights just like Uncle ny did and of course we just had to comply right? They grew up *hearing* those stories all their lives. Then after wewere made to clean up our mess we would have birthday cake and ice cream and coffee even as kids, we loved our coffee it made us feel so grown up:-)In fact the last family Thanksgiving was 1992 the year before I movedup to PA. We would play cards at the dining room table after dinner and my *YiaYia* grandmom hated when we did that but always got in on the action by first hollering at us.See, playing cards at God's Table was a no..no but then we gave her adrink (Manhattan were her favorite) and she got so silly and would have us rolling on the floor especially when she started laughing cuz when she started she couldn't stop and her body would shake like Jello which made us laugh even more..teeheeI was looking at the photos this morning and my YiaYia (grandmom) isgone (96 yrs.old) God bless her. As are my ny and too, my uncle Nick died in 2002 and my cousin 's wife died from cancer 2004. was my protector as kids when ny and my other cousins picked on me.I'm *not* cooking Thanksgiving (haven't since 2005) when my eldeststarting making it with my help of course *smile* Me and my daughter Joni are going to her house to share with her and her hubby. I'm taking the uncooked turkey to her house and just vegging for the day while the turkey is cooking so it should be a good day. Many Healing HugsTerri ny's Sister (43 - suicide)11/22/57~2/12/01's Sister (35 - cancer)5/1/61~6/25/

Guest guest
Dear TerriI have wondered where you were. I guess you were caught up in your memories. huh? I am glad you shared this with us all. It sounded like you had some very happy times back in the day! It's pleasant to take happy trips down memory lane but I am sorry to hear there are loved ones missing from your holiday table. There are loved ones missing from mine, too, and it sad. Life changes and we must change with it. Enjoy your day at your daughters! big hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
