Well that IS good news about Steve,

for sure. So sorry about your cousin, though. 65 is fairly young.

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well. Yes, family has changed. Rob's

mom has a registered sex offender living with her so Robbin cannot

go there when Tony is home. So for Thanksgiving she is having him,

his parents, Rita and Mick over. No Rob, no Robbin. Instead, since

Rob's birthday is next Mon, on Sun she is having another party

with Rob and his GF, Robbin and I, don't know if Rita will be

there, hope so, I really like her. I'm taking a cake. So for

Thanksgiving it is Robbin and I, I have a chicken to cook,

stuffing, green beans, corn, might be persuaded to make a

yorkshire pudding, and a pumpkin pie from Schwans.

In other news, my new PC pooped out again. Did the same thing as

last time, turned it off and it will not restart. I called them

(again), I only just got it back yesterday afternoon. This is So

frustrating!

Was talking to Rob this morning, he'd called to get a number from

me and Robbin told him about y PC. When I got on he said "well I

guess they are not as good as they think they are" I said"Who is?"

his answer? "I am". No ego there, nope... :-D

Hi everyone,…Steve’s

blood tests came back negative for leukemia. WHEW……..,

that was scary. Praise God! Thanks for all the prayers

too. J

Seems like one can’t

have good news without something else happening that

is sad. In this case a cousin of mine died Sunday

night. He was only 65. Guess he had suffered from a

couple strokes over the years, and the last one put

him in the hosp. wi th pneumonia and malnutrition. He

was a good looking and happy guy from the years that I

knew him and it was sad to see the pictures of him

before he passed. He lived in Las Vegas, and is

survived by one daughter from Alabama, a sister in

Wyoming, and a brother in Oregon.. His daughter was

with him when he passed.

My shoulder is still

acting up here and there. I have to wait now to get my

cortisone shot until after the holidays. I’ll just

have to take it easy until then.

My daughter and her

family will be with us for thanksgiving. They are

getting an RV Wed., to live in until they get their

housing approved, then they can get into a decent

house. My son won’t be here, he decided he wanted to

be with his friends. That’s a little sad for me. The

girls will be with their mom all week, so I won’t get

to see them either. It’s been 2 mo.’s + since I last

saw them. How different my family is from days past.

Our neighbors cat

Julep has adopted us. She races in every time the

front door is opened, and then she wants all the

loving. Gets up on my desk, and me and purrs and pads.

Sweet kitty, and I hate to put her back out wh en our

weather has been so cold. She has a nice thick coat so

I think she’s okay. I don’t know if she is potty boxed

trained so I can’t keep her inside for long. I’m sure

she would find a place to curl up in.

We’re expecting high

winds at the beach, they said hurricane type. Lots of

rain and some flooding in areas. We had wind and rain

here too, but not too bad.

Guess that’s it, if I

don’t get back on here b efore Thursday, HAPPY

THANKSGIVING TO ALL!

Hugs, Jackie

p/s Reb, your Pixie is

a doll baby, and so precious. J
