I don't mind going ice fishing but often especially when I'm cold, I spend my time in the car reading. Let's say walking on ice isn't really my favorite thing but it's fun watching the kids riding in the skidoos. And nice to spend the day getting fresh air and chatting with strangers.

As for the actual fishing, I just don't get it ... you basically just wait for your rod to move. Btw and I are whatever you call senior boy and girlfriends. He lives in his house and I in mine. I seriously don't think we'd get along so well if we were married ... hugs, Cait

So glad you're back Cait, but sorry about your cold. You best take it easy and don't over-do with baking etc..The cold can wreak as much havoc on our poor MS bodies as can heat. For me, it stiffens me up and makes it a bit harder to walk.So, you guys, or at least your hubby enjoy ice fishing? Let us know what he catches. Is it purely for fun, or will you eat what he catches?Missed you!love,Kate

with a bad cold. We had a nice time especially staying at the Casino. Rooms that are $125-150 on the weekends are under $50 during the week. And they have a 24 hr restaurant/deli, a delicious expensive restaurant, and the best buffet I've ever had. I usually turn my nose up at buffets but this one is so good. Oh and a Starbucks.

I just played my daily free $5 and lost it quickly but it was nice and relaxing. Then decided 'since we had the chance' we'd keep looking for an ice fishing tent thingie that he liked. That meant searching in Wisconsin and Michigan. And of course none of them were what he wanted. He bought one at home!

By that time I was glad to get home. I've got wrapping, baking, etc. to do. And I was having a hard time with both my legs giving out and my balance. Somehow the cold is bothering me as badly as the heat! Anyway the cane doesn't really help all that much anymore ..... hugs,Cait
