Class Funding Opportunities

The TEEX EMS Program / TxDOT Rural and Frontier EMS Education grant

still has funds available for this fiscal year. We provide funds to

educational entities in the form of instructor pay and a coordinator fee

so that those fees don’t have to be passed on to the student. We are

currently looking to fund continuing education classes (ACLS, AMLS, EPC,

EVOC, GEMS, ITLS, PALS, PEPP, PHTLS) and instructor classes but we might

be able to fund initial DSHS classes as well. All classes and students

must be complete (and eligible to test NREMT if applicable) and the

paperwork submitted to us no later than September 15, 2011. If you are
