Guest guest
HI all, I hope everyone going to the conference has a good and safe trip there. I am still in Pa, and still waiitng to begin treatment on the osteomyletis. next wek I go to see a foot and ankle specialist at Penn in Philly. All opf the local Dr's say I'm too complex. Hopefully, I will finally get help there. It's ironic that I had Dr's willing to treat all my other infections but when I get one finally caused by a prior surgery noone wants to touch me. Everyone please keep your fingers crossed and say a prayer that I get some very pro-active help. I believe I need to have antibbiotic beads put iin the bone as well as start IV antibiotics at home. My brother who has MS will be styarting another course of IV antibiotics. I honestly do not know how he does it. The medicine he is in now gives him fever and flu symptoms very badly. I am also amazed at how quickly his ability to walk has gone downhill . " He can still walk but it is more of a waddle and he refuses to use a cane. He still qprks and travels across the country for his job almost daily. It really makes me feel like a wimp. Well, that is all that is new from here. Have a safe trip al of you conventioneers. Anyone know where it will be next year? Sue K
Guest guest
Hi Sue, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers! Let's hope you get a doctor who know what he/she's doing and one that listens and cares! I don't know where the conference is next year - they don't always have one. It depends on which group volunteers to host the conference I think. If we find out while we're there, I'll let you know!
