Guest guest
Yes, it does sound like MS. Have you been to an ophthalmologist (medical eye doc) to have your vision problems evaluated? If not, you should do so. The eye pain could be optic neuritis. How old are you? When are your MRI results due back?I'm glad you joined us but I am sorry you have the need. hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
Hi ,….WELCOME to the group. I hope we can help you with sharing our experiences, and be a comfort to you. I am Jackie from Oregon and had my first symptoms when I was 31 back in 1981, and it took 14 years to get a positive diagnosis. But that was back before they had MRI’s so the diagnosing is better now I think. They still have to rule out other things because MS can be a great mimicker of other illnesses also. Your symptoms do fall into the MS realm, but there are so many variables of how serious it is, so don’t think the worse case scenario if it does end up being it. I have had a very slow progression, didn’t take any meds for it, and started out with R/R but now am SP, after 20+ years with it. Early treatment is the most important thing as it can slow any progression, and help with the symptoms. Anyhow keep asking questions and educate yourself as much as possible because that helps with knowing how to deal with it too.
