Texas A&M Emergency Care Team has as well; I vaguely recall UT has the same if

you know someone there. I'll try to get a copy of TAMECT's to you.

You might check with Dr. Perssee from Houston. He's the Medical Director

for the Safety Committee at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

The easiest, and probably wisest way to handle OTC dispensing is to simply have

individually pre-packaged dosages of common meds available for the patient

him/herself to choose from. That way, you are not dispensing or prescribing,

relieving you from liability. And most adults can be trusted to do that. But

the moment you start evaluating the patient and recommending what they take, you

need protocol.
