Some parents have reported this yes. > Is this a temporary effect or a constant one? Reduce the dose, that seems to help for constipation issues. > > If you experience die-off or similar behavior during the adjustment > period to No-Fenol will it happen each time you increase the dose? My son was " awake " in the evening with No-Fenol. Not hyper, but awake. Every time I increase the dose [like if I give extra for a bday party or whatever], he will be awake for a short time that evening. If the adjustment is for yeast, once the yeast is gone, you won't see the behavior. Dana
Guest guest
Yes, LESS stool, not constipation in my son too. And...no stinky smell. He goes about every two or three days now. He is not suffering from any symptoms of constipation, goes easily when it's time, no stains in his underwear, don't notice any gas these days-- all good stuff! Guest guest
Debbie, My son seems to have difficulty with Culturelle, we've tried it several times (most people find it helpful). You could try stopping the Culturelle for a few days, then resume, or stopping it and trying another type probiotic. It's also possible you are seeing more die- off. > Hi all. Guest guest
I think that is way to much no-fenol my son is 6 and gets 1/4 a capsule maybe 2 times a day if he has phenols food. I have to tell you that I have seen something really intresting happen with my son. If someone were to tell him NO about something he would get upset and I could tell it turned in to a physical thing right away and we would have a meltdown = once this happened and I remembered I forgot his enzymes I mix his with honey and water and give with eye droper SO I mixed them up and gave them to him, it stopped his meltdown right away. Please try this with your son. I have done alot of read on this and beleave it is bad to block all the the chemicals all the time like you are attempting. I have read that phenols are a 6 ring carbon atom and a alcohol group so is adrenalin that maybe why I see what I see. If you want to read more : DANAS VIEW and Autism Awaking diet intvervention at site I have found intresting. Ann

My son does not tolerate Culturelle for more than 2 days. I would suggest you stop the Culturelle and see if he improves. Dana
Guest guest
All of this yeast-die off causes a more acidic ph level in the body. You may want to give some AlkaSeltzer Gold to alkalinize or neutralize the acidity. Rose no-fenol questions Hi all. It`s been a long time since I`ve posted to this list. I just started my son (age 7) on no-fenol last week and I have some questions. He has been using both the peptizyde and hn-zyme prime enzymes for over 5 months. Just last week I started him on no-fenol. I started out at 1/3 capsule 2x a day for 4 days, then increased to 1/3 capsule at all 3 meals. During the first 6 days on the no-fenol, I was also giving the gfse to treat for yeast. He had what I think was die-off on that at about the 2nd and 3rd days. Afterthat he seemed really good, the best I can remember. Then I stopped the gfse ( I`d heard not to give it for too long). He`s been taking the culturelle now with it for 6 days. His behavior is worse. Also, He is very hyper and silly. Is this typical of the no-fenol? If so, how long will this last. Starting today, I increased the dosage to 1/2 cap per meal. He seems a little better behaviorally, although more hyper and silly. What do you recommend I do? Keep at it? Stop the no-fenol and see how he is? I would appreciate any advice. Let me know if you need more info. Thanks. Debbie in PA
