Cait, I always talk to my cars, determine their gender and name them. One day I wasdriving one of my cousins to a doctor appointment and she got very upset with my dialogue with "Dart," a male Toyota. She actually said to me, "You don't really think thatthey have personalities and can understand you, do you?" So, I replied, "Of course not,but this is a great way to handle "road rage!" She accepted that! She was a cousin-in-law, my husband's first cousin--and like him, a Holocaust survivor, I always treated hergently. She did look relieved.Love,nSubject: Re:

..I love your ps n. I hope it will apply to and me. Btw to me, just looking at a car you can tell its sex. Example were ex's old Austin Healeys ... they definitely were males. My first car was a Cortina .. definitely a she altho I don't think she ended her teens if she ever got there.

Maggie the Mazda was one of my favorite as well as my last car. I hated giving her up but repairs were too expensive for my bank balance and she was also used to begin with. Don't laugh but I'd even talk to her ... hugs, Cait

The new car--again, and again!

Come to think of it, as the car is already female, I shall re-name her "Tomatilla,"which will not be the same as naming her after those small green "tomatillos."I am so thrilled to finally have a car, and Edna is nearly ecstatic!Significant other is pretty happy, too--the two of us do not fit well on his motorcycle!Love to you all,nP.S. I learned that if one's husband, or partner or lover resides with me that the guyswill just die--so the current "significant other" and I do not live together--over 22 yearsso far!
