Guest guest
Hello Heidi, Thanks for sharing your experience and the comment from McMinn. We all worry from time to time (especially if we are active with compact sports), and it's good to compare pains. Guest guest
Regarding pains and my reply to Heidi, I meant " impact sports " not compact. I play competitive tennis on hardcourts and I have long term concerns. Almost 2 years post op, I'm doing great and getting faster, stronger, and more muscle endurance with time. Last week I played a long 3 set match on slow courts and didn't cramp, so progress continues. In winter I play on indoor courts that are somewhat cushioned. Ideally, I'd like to settle in Florida and play on clay courts -- which are easy on the joints. Are there any " sugar mommas " out there in Naples or Palm Beach? Guest guest
Hi , I'm three years out from a left resurface. Last spring, I pulled something in my left hip and had uncomfortable pain for a couple months. Naturally I was nervous, and sent an xray over to Treacy. He said all was well, and if I had done something really bad, like a fracture or the device was loose, I would barely be able to walk. The pain didn't interfere with my stretching or walking, but if I squatted down it hurt. Probably you've just pulled something, but do let De Smet know, chances are he'll reassure you.
