Guest guest
Hi Carol, I suggest you ask prospective surgeons about their experience with AVN patients like yourself – how many cases they've done, the success/failure rate, long term prognosis, what special instruments they may use for AVN, your options if there's a failure, the post-op track record of similar patients, any external factors like diet and exercise that can influence your outcome, any restrictions imposed by the surgery, and similar questions. I based my decision on who had the most experience - any warm and fuzzy from the doc was a bonus. Dave C+ Amstutz, 2.24.98, 3.12.04 > Hi All > > I've written once and received great responses. Guest guest
Amstutz at JRI has by far the most experience. However, I had mine done by Beaule and it seems fine. > Hi All > > I've written once and received great responses. I have decided that > resurfacing is definitely the way I want to go.
