Guest guest
Hi Sandy, I suspect you would be hard pushed to find many falling in that category with a BHR............and then you would want one who had had it for many years I would think to make anything meaningful of what you then found.........and even then what affects one may not affect another...........so not an easy quest............ Another source of perhaps information could be trawling something like Totallyhip to see if anyone comes up with metal on metal THR and multiple sclerosis.......... As the THR is being put into far more bodies at this point, you are looking at a wider range of individuals as 'possibles'.............. Another would be the MS societies/lists where they may have people who have worked in foundary situations as my understanding, from my OS, is we are on about the same risk scale with metal ions as people who work in these places.............. All the best with your search, Edith LBHR Dr. L Walter Syd Aust 8/02 > I'm female, 51, and lucky to be on the list for bilateral resurfacing > hopefully early in the new year.
