Guest guest
Hi, My name is D.. This is my first post. My question is... I now belong to an HMO. I can switch this Sept. to a PPO if that would be an advantage to be covered. I know this is a ins. ?, but I am at the beginning of what will probably be a very long journey. I did read Peggy G's book about a week ago. I have to start some where, so here I am. Thanks, D. If someone would like to know more about me, or just wonder about my hip problems, I would like to share. I'm new to this internet group thing. I'm only an email away. Thanks again to everyone. Guest guest
Hi , Welcome aboard! I had the opportunity in December to choose a health plan. My daughter and I reviewed no less than 12 health plan booklets. I made a chart so I knew what I needed and could cut through the insurance language. Check out if they will pay for " investigation " surgery and/or device(s). Policies do vary according to state and employer. I have BC/BS FEP which pays in full even though BC of California will not. Also, Worker's Comp of Calif have paid for at least one resurfacing at Orthoepedic Hospital in L.A. Also check previous posts. Good Luck. I am sure you will find success.
