Hi everyone,

l have lived in several provinces over three decades and l would like

to make a few comments. l have learnt that provincial healthcare

systems do not offer identical coverage. lt is extremy uncommon that

a provincial health will agree to pay out of province non urgent

surgery when this surgery can be done in the province. The cost for a

surgery varies from one province to another because the cost of

living is not identical. l would like to make a last comment. BC has

been through a phenomenal demographic growth over the last 2 decades

which have sky rocketed the cost of public services. BC healthcare

system is under extreme steaming pressure to the point that

aceesibility to healthcare has become the major obstacle to its

universitality.
