Guest guest
My father just had the decompression with Dr. Levi in Dr. Green's group. I can't say enough how wonderful these doctors (and the wonderful nurses) are!!! Surgeons 1) Has anyone had any experience with Dr. Barth Green at Miami for Chiari 1 with cervical syrinx surgery (especially reoperation)? Does anyone know of the volume of cases and success rates they have? 2) Has anyone had a negative experience at the NY Clinic (Drs. Milhorat/Bolognese) either from a patient care standpoint or complication?

Guest guest
Hi, I'm not sure about Dr. Green, Dr. Levi was our doctor. We were referred to them by our local neurologist. The surgery was at Memorial. JMHO, the hospital is a pigsty. The care the doctors and the ICU nurses give are WONDERFUL, but the facility itself, and the floor nurses, leave a lot to be desired. It's a shame. Here is a link to them: http://neurosurgery.med.miami.edu/ Stacey P.S. If you want to IM me to talk, my AOL Im is staceyandbailey Re: Surgeons Thankyou for your reply. Does Dr. Green's group do a high volume of Chiari's and do they do redos? Any idea on their complications? Did you hear of them through others-What was their experience with nursing and the doctors? Which hospital did he have it at? Thanks

Guest guest
Hi Everybody, I'm brand-new to the group (or any group)so please forgive me if this is an often-asked question, but does anyone have exsperience with a Dr. Feldman in Englewood, NJ? Got his name from the Corin folks and he seems to be the only doctor doing resurfacing--with Corin, at least-- within 100 miles. I have bone-on-bone oa in one hip and have been told by three surgeons that I have no alternative but a THR. Am scheduled for one in May, but just found your site!! As a former dancer, yoga teacher, and forever (I hope) athlete, I am naturally excited at even the faintest hope of " living better through resurfacing. " If no one know of Feldman, can anyone recommend a doctor experienced in resurfacing in New York City, New Jersey, Or Philadelphia? I'd rather not be someone's first attempt, and as a single parent, I can't travel all that far from home. Thanks for any leads you can give--and thanks for this great website!
