Guest guest
yes - not what happens to me. I have pain in the IT band when I walk - like it is getting tight, and then hurts... I've had MFR on it but it's been a long time since that was done... IT Band syndrome Bonnie

Guest guest
Hi Bonnie~~ It is sort of odd but this is the best way to explain. When I walk, it " catches " If I hold the bottom round part of my buttocks sort of up with one hand (to the position it was when I was a teen lol) I can stop it from catching and walk normally. That, of course is quite a sight! Hand on butt walking down the street. When I am at rest in a soft chair, or getting in and out of a seat (a car is the better example) the band will actually snap over my hip and I have to stand up and bend over really big with the opposite leg in the air to get it to snap back. I stand with the affected hip's foot on the ground, swing my other leg into the air and hang my shoulders toward the ground. So my head, shoulders and arms are pointing toward the floor with the opposite leg in the air. Pretty darn painful when it happens. I have, only on 4 occasions, not been able to snap it back. The other is when I am lying down I will get a big knot in the SI joint. I am pretty sure that they are related. Does this help? Re: cindy re morphine? TJ Deb what do you feel with IT band syndrome? I'm been having trouble with my IT band for about 6-8 months... RE: cindy re morphine? TJ
Guest guest
I think it is because my IT band is so loose. Mine used to that tight thing too but now it is just so loose it wiggles all around.
