Guest guest
Does this mean you can now be referred to as " straight-laced " Edith? I just realized today that I can now see the soles of my feet by twisting them up towards me on the inside. Never thought of it before and it's amazing how these " little " things can bring great joy. Enjoy, Edith. There's more to follow. Guest guest
bravo edith !!! that is no small miracle. single loops, double bows, double knots..... the possibilities are endless !!! sincere congratulations. jeff Tying shoelaces........... Hi, As this is often cited as a milestone and something I have lusted after being able to do for almost 37 years............ I am happy to report that I purchased a brand new pair of lace up runners on weekend and can tie the laces on the BHR side........... This happened 1 months shy of 2 years of getting the BHR........ if fact of recent times I reckon it has increased flexibility a little more......... so all you 'few weeks out feeling frustrated with progress' it does keep happening............ I probably will not be using the runners as meant because of the damage to the rest of the body but they will sure look neat at the gym where I have to play with all these young things while on this course of mine..........smile. Guest guest
Edith, You know I empathize, honey. I may have beaten you to the punch by a year and a few months, but the day I laced up my own work boot was a major milestone. I am so happy for you. It'a a major victory, I tell you. And I look forward to the day when I can lace up something snazzy and take my beatiful bride out dancing. Hell, I might even take DANCING LESSONS!!! Youv'e always been a source on inspiration for me Edith, and I couldn't be happier for you. And it's bed time now, but I'll grin tommorrow morning when I lace up my boots and think of you. You go girl.... C+ Amstutz 4-15-04 > Hi, > > As this is often cited as a milestone and something I have lusted after > being able to do for almost 37 years............ Guest guest
You go girl... Being unable to do it now, I can only tell you a straight-to-center tying of my gym shoes will be the true sign to me that my hip is finally fixed...whenever that may come. Congratulations...
